Stryker Updates Free Pad-Pak & Forward Hearts Programs

Stryker offers two exciting programs to reward you for using their devices, and today we’re going to provide you with all of the information you need to cash out on these benefits. The first is the Free Pad-Pak Program, where you’ll receive a free Pad-Pak every time you use a HeartSine Samaritan PAD during an SCA! The second is the Forward Hearts program, which allows survivors of SCAs in which a HeartSine AED was used to donate an AED to the organization of their choice, potentially saving another life.

What do you need to do to get these rewards?

Both programs require an Event Data File downloaded from the AED. Stryker will not accept PDFs, so be sure that these are .EVO files for HeartSine defibrillators (both programs), or .PCO files for LIFEPAK defibrillators (Forward Hearts specifically).

Additionally, the two programs require Customer Event Reports, which will need to be filled out by the customer. Here is the link to the HeartSine report, which can be used for the Free Pad-Pak Program or the Hearts Forward program. Here is the link to the LIFEPAK report, which can only be used for Hearts Forward.

For both programs, the Stryker clinical team must deem the event a sudden cardiac arrest.

To qualify for Forward Hearts, a Donation Details Form is required, which must be filled out by the survivor. For this reason, it is recommended that you submit the Customer Event Report and the Event Data File first, that way you know your event is approved before asking the survivor to spend time filling out the form.

All forms should be submitted to [email protected], and you will receive a reference number for your submission. Be sure to hang on to this, and you can reach out to your Stryker representative or the above email with any questions! More information can be found on the HeartSine website.

These reward programs are another reason that Stryker devices are a must-have for homes, businesses, and community centers. Please reach out to us at AED.US with any questions about which device is right for you!
