Meet the Coro Canine Crew: Ginger

At AED.US, we value a positive company culture and work environment. That’s why our office is dog friendly! We would like to introduce you to the Coro Canine Crew and tell you what makes them so special.

Ginger the hound mix dog, in the woodsWhat is your pet’s name? Ginger

How did you come up with the name, does it have any specific significance? My daughter named her because of her reddish color.

Does she have a nickname and what is it? “Ging” or “Gingee”

How old is she? About 3.5 yrs old. We rescued her last summer when they said she was about 3 years old.

What breed? She’s a Hound Mix

What is her energy level? She’s high energy and always needs something to keep her mind engaged and she’s super-fast

What is Ginger’s favorite food? Real steak or chicken

What is her favorite game or toy? empty plastic water bottles and anything with fur

Other likes and dislikes- CAN NOT STAND CATS. Likes to bark and lunge at oncoming cars.Ginger the hound mix dog with an AED

Funny things she does and/or weird quirks? She crosses her front paws when she lays down, like a little lady:)

Does she know any tricks? She can catch most treats mid-air and knows how to position herself perfectly under a can of whipped cream to catch the stream in her mouth.

Independent or affectionate? She’s very needy, so I would call it affectionate in a selfish kind of way

What is your favorite thing to do together? We LOVE hiking and roaming through the woods around the neighborhood. She could stay out there all day long sniffing the trails of squirrels, possums, raccoons, and chipmunks

What is your favorite memory involving Ginger? We love snuggling on the couch at night, so those are my fondest times…when she’s finally settled down and all snuggly and sweet.
