At AED.US, we value a positive company culture and work environment. That’s why our office is dog friendly! We would like to introduce you to the Coro Canine Crew and tell you what makes them so special.

What is your dogs name? Quasar

How did you come up with the name, does it have any specific significance? The vet who rescued her, and removed her damaged eye named her. When you read the definition of a Quasar it makes sense. “a massive and extremely remote celestial object, emitting exceptionally large amounts of energy, and typically having a starlike image in a telescope. It has been suggested that quasars contain massive black holes and may represent a stage in the evolution of some galaxies”

Does she have a nickname and what is it? Quasi, because she is a little cray, cray.

How old is she? 1oish

What breed? Boxer

What is her energy level?  Did you read the definition of a Quasar yet?

.What is your dog’s favorite food? Anything we are having

What is her favorite game or toy? All of them

Funny things she does and/or weird quirks? She will sit in front of me, and paw at me when she feels like she isn’t getting her deserved attention or wants something. Typically, while we are eating.

Does she know any tricks? She knows the basic, but our favorite is her giving 10

Independent or affectionate? Independent

What is your favorite thing to do together?  Wrestle with her or throw her the ball in the back yard.

What is your favorite memory involving Quasar? When she finally let her guard down with me. We began fostering her as a last gasp effort. She was a tough case as she was very protective of women and very cautious of, and aggressive towards, men. We believe her eye was injured because she was protecting a woman in a domestic violence situation. It took some time, but with help of our first Boxer, Rex, she realized she was in a place where she was going to be loved. That is when she decided to adopt us as her forever family.
