According to the American Heart Association, about 7,000 children experience Sudden Cardiac Arrest outside the hospital each year. Of those, children treated with an AED by a bystander had a survival rate of 29.1%, compared to 23.7% for children who were not. If you have a child, work with children, or have an establishment with frequent young visitors, give them the best possible chance of survival by providing an AED with pediatric capability.
