Some sites need an AED for a weekend. Others need one on the wall for years. Those are two different problems, and AED.US solves them two different ways: a month-to-month AED rental for short windows, and an AED Readiness & Compliance Package for permanent placement. Here is how to tell which one you need.
When renting an AED is the right solution
A rental fits any situation with a clear end date:
- Events: marathons, music festivals, tournaments, conventions, and golf outings
- Seasonal operations: pools, summer camps, beaches, and ski programs
- Temporary sites: construction phases, film productions, and pop-up locations
- Service gaps: a stand-in while your own AED is repaired or replaced
When a package is the better choice
If the AED will stay in place for a year or more, renting month to month costs more and gives you less. A Readiness & Compliance Package runs $31 to $69 per AED per month on a 4-year agreement, includes free shipping, and comes with Concierge 365 program management. That covers inspection and expiration tracking, expired pad and battery replacement, medical direction, written policies and procedures, 911 dispatch registration, and post-event support. A rental includes the AED and its warranty, but not the program.
What does an AED rental include?
Every rental ships ready for a rescue, with factory accessories installed:
- An Encore Series™ ZOLL AED Plus or HeartSine samaritan PAD 350P
- Adult pads and battery, already installed
- A carrying case
- Full warranty for as long as you rent
Pediatric pads are available as an add-on. We recommend them if the AED will be used around children under 8 years old or under 55 pounds.
How much does it cost to rent an AED?
Rentals are $149 per AED per month, month to month, plus a one-time $100 shipping fee that covers both delivery and return. Other AED models are available on request.
How do I rent an AED?

- Check out, or request a rental quote for multiple AEDs or a specific delivery date
Rental AEDs ship within 72 business hours of a finalized rental agreement. If your event is sooner, call us and we will look at expedited options.
How do I return my rental AED?
- Contact us for a return shipping label
- Pack the AED back up in its case
- Print the label, or have the UPS store clerk scan it from your phone
- Once we receive the AED, your automatic credit card payments stop
