AED.US: Your One-Stop-Shop For AED Resources

Screenshot of a computer screen showing the AED.US Resources page on AED.US website. At AED.us, we are committed to forging stronger links in the chain of survival. That means making AEDs, training resources, and knowledge as accessible as possible. We want to share some of our favorite resources with you today so you can start learning and help us protect heart health!

myAED Program Management

When you purchase an AED, it can be tough to keep track of all of the moving parts: the battery life, the electrode expiration date, and the device’s readiness. Failure to maintain your device can have severe consequences in the event of an emergency, so you need to be sure that all of the components are working exactly as they should. Many devices have built-in readiness tests, though they are not exhaustive and don’t provide thorough documentation the way a monthly visual inspection would.

That’s where AED.us can help with our myAED Program Management. Select myAED Basic or Premium, depending on your needs, and get email reminders, Recall and Update notifications, direct links to reorder supplies, free access to myAED personnel for legislation concerns, and phenomenal customer support. You can’t put a price on your peace of mind, but myAED Basic is included at no additional charge for the first year after your AED purchase, and is available for $99 annually after that. Our best deal, myAED Premium, can be purchased in a 5-year bundle for just $499.

Finding a CPR and AED Training Course near you

Now that your AED is purchased and installed, are you ready to use it? Your family, employees, patrons, or anybody else who may use the defibrillator should feel comfortable and confident in their ability to respond during an emergency situation. The Red Cross and the American Heart Association offer many classes and training sessions, and we have a directory of instructors organized by state to make your planning as effortless as possible.

AED Videos

When you buy a new device or accessory, it can be daunting to parse through instructions and learn the ins and outs of your new piece of equipment. That’s why we’ve assembled a catalog of video resources to walk you through several important processes of AED ownership. Learn how to change pads and batteries, how to use monitors, manikin best practices, and more, with just the click of a button.

AED Legislation

At AED.us, we understand that it can be difficult to navigate the legal side of AED ownership and maintenance. Especially in an ever-changing political landscape, with laws that change across state borders, AED legislation is intimidating. That’s why we’ve assembled a list of FAQs related to AED ownership laws and other legislation that affects rescue procedures, all organized state-by-state. Learn about Good Samaritan Laws, AED purchasing laws, and liability with us, and become familiar with the policies that will help you save lives.

Scholarship Program

We pride ourselves on being community-focused here at AED.us, and we love to support those who help us forge stronger links in the chain of survival.
