AED Simulators
Having an AED on-site at your school or business is a great step toward being prepared in the event of an emergency, but it’s equally important to know how to use it. AED simulators are an excellent teaching tool for instructors, allowing them to display multiple AED and CPR functions and walk students through hypothetical scenarios.
How do AED Simulators Work?
AED simulators are designed to function with specific AEDs. For example, a business with a ZOLL AED Plus would need to purchase a ZOLL AED Plus Simulator. Connecting an AED simulator to its appropriate AED counterpart enables instructors to train students on basics and best practices for a variety of cardiac rhythms and corresponding CPR instructions.
In most cases, using an AED simulator will require using special AED trainer pads in place of normal ones, so be sure to keep this in mind as you organize your training plans.
