Coro Medical Warranties and Liability Limits

Coro Medical LLC is a distributor and not a manufacturer of AEDs and other devices. Except for Encore Series devices, Customer’s sole recourse for any warranty claims is with the manufacturer of the device. Coro Medical agrees to pass through any manufacturer warranty that Coro Medical receives from the manufacturer of the device. The terms, conditions, remedies, procedures, and other details of any manufacturer warranty may be expressly stated on, packaged with, or otherwise accompanying the device.

Except for the limited warranty for Encore Series devices expressly set forth below, Coro Medical makes no warranty, express or implied, and expressly disclaims all implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, the absence of mechanical or electronical defects, fitness for a particular purpose and those warranties arising by statute or otherwise in law. All devices are sold “AS IS”. Coro Medical shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or other damages that exceed the total amount of fees paid to Coro Medical by Customer. Customer shall inspect the device and upon customer’s own knowledge and discretion, not upon the reliance of any statement, inference, or knowledge of Coro Medical, and determine if the device is fit for use in the Customer’s business.

Coro Medical provides a limited warranty for “Encore Series” refurbished AEDs shipped to end users against defects in material and workmanship for four (4) years. Coro Medical provides a limited warranty for “Encore Series” refurbished manual defibrillators and other medical devices (Autoclave, ECG, charging stations, etc.) shipped to end users against defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year. Customer shall provide Coro Medical written notice of any alleged defective material or workmanship within ten (10) calendar days of Customer’s discovery of said defect. Customer's sole remedy shall be repair or replacement, at the discretion of Coro Medical, of the defective device. This limited warranty excludes defects caused by misuse, including failure to follow manual instructions, abnormal use, and operating error. Coro Medical makes no other warranties, express or implied. PLEASE SEE THE FIRST TWO PARAGRAPHS OF THIS SECTION FOR THE DISCLAIMER OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND LIMITS OF LIABILITY.

New AEDs:

All new AEDs from AED.US come with a manufacturer warranty ranging from five to eight years depending on the device.

Re-certified AEDs:

AED.US' Encore Series line of Refurbished AEDs come with a 4-year warranty, the longest in the industry! Extended warranties are also available for 1 or 2 years.

Pad & Battery Life:

Pads and batteries are disposable and have a shelf life of two to five years when not used and they will need to be replaced after that time.

Self-Check Schedule:

All AEDs perform self-tests on a regular basis and vary between devices. We have listed all the AEDs below with the OEM warranty, pad life, battery life and self-check schedule to insure that your AED is ready for rescue at all times.
